SAFREN® Kashmiri Saffron is derived from the dried stigmas of Crocus sativus L., a sterile triploid flowering plant of the Iridaceae family. Cultivated exclusively in the Pampore region of Srinagar, Kashmir, this saffron is globally recognized for its exceptionally high concentrations of bioactive compounds, including crocin, picrocrocin, and safranal, which define color strength, taste, and aroma respectively.

Each stigma is hand-harvested during the short flowering window, shade-dried under controlled conditions, and carefully packed to preserve phytochemical integrity. The deep crimson color, trumpet-shaped stigmas, and intense aroma indicate ISO 3632 Grade I quality, representing the highest classification of saffron available worldwide.
